Below is a photo of my physical music collection and old college stereo. I was staring and reminiscing about them the other night. These tunes (aside from the few random children albums for my daughter) have been the largest inspiration to me. I'm extremely picky when it comes to purchasing music. Most of my influences (and what I still purchase) are from 80s and 90s artists. I must also state when very young I quite enjoyed my older brother's vinyls and 8-tracks for Chuck Mangione, Journey, Doobie Brothers, and Christopher Cross (can't forget"Sailing").
I don't buy very much new music. Mainly as I want to create pure new music and not be too caught up or subconsciously influenced by other artists. I want the music to be me.
